The following is a vertical south facing sundial for the Olney First School in Clipsham limestone (from Near Stamford Lincolnshire), decorated in dutch gold and copper leaf. The Gnomon (pointer) is solid brass. The Latin motto on it of "Fruere Hora", translates to "Enjoy this moment".






The following is a vertical south facing sundial in Ancaster limestone (from Near Sleaford Lincolnshire), decorated in dutch gold and copper leaf. . The Latin motto on it of "Vivere Memento", translates to "Don't forget to Live!".

This sundial was designed for a 70th birthday present to go with a new home. The wall is 30 degrees off of due south, hence the dial only marks the hours between 5am until 3:30pm (GMT). The stone is Ancaster Weatherbed limestone with 23,5carat gilding
